Coastal cities need to create good policy based on reliable data to adapt to climate change. To support policymakers and practitioners doing that important work, my teammates and I designed a resource hub for Urban Ocean Lab to host factsheets, case studies, articles, and legislative documents. I worked with Gabrielle Mérite and infogr8 to shape the design of the site, which launched in June 2024, and curated policymaking documents on an ongoing basis.
Later, before President Trump took office, I archived and published permanent backups of more than 100 federal resources on climate change in case of alteration or deletion, ensuring that the resource hub would continue to serve policymakers for the foreseeable future. This was covered by Grist.
